Reporters are the 'bad fellas' in the Martin Scorsese documentary on Dylan, which airs Monday and Tuesday. In fact, they helped drive Dylan into semi-retirement. 'You've never heard me sing,' he asks one reporter, 'and yet you want to sit there and ask me these questions?' Another journo asks Dylan to 'suck on your glasses.'

(September 24, 2005) -- Surely, one of the non-musical highlights of the extraordinary Martin Scorsese film about Bob Dylan%u2019s early days, airing on PBS next Monday and Tuesday, arrives when a press photographer, at a briefing, asks the young rock star to pose for a picture. %u201CSuck on a corner of your glasses,%u201D the gentleman instructs.
Dylan, fingering his Raybans, rebels. %u201CYou want me to suck on my glasses?%u201D he asks incredulously."
