But this was the collection of songs that fully displayed the myriad shades of their songwriting talents and exhibited musical influences from the folksy to the medieval. 'Stairway to Heaven' by now has been played into the ground by FM jocks, but its lilting poetry and that of 'The Battle of Evermore' signaled a new and exciting direction for the quartet. 'Black Dog' and 'Rock and Roll' represent Zep's core constituency well. And 'Going to California' and 'When the Levee Breaks' are two of the most underrated songs in their entire catalog."

Cookie Monster curbs cookie habit

BBC NEWS: "Cookie Monster, the biscuit-eating puppet on US children's show Sesame Street, will cut down on his favourite food as part of an anti-obesity drive.
The blue-furred muppet who used to sing 'C is for Cookie' will now tell viewers that 'A Cookie is a Sometimes Food'.
Each episode of the show's new series will begin with a 'health tip' about healthy foods and physical activity.
A Sesame Street representative said the popular character would be 'broadening his eating habits' in future."

What Does Bush Have on His IPod ?

WASHINGTON Between his return Friday from Pope John Paul II's funeral in Rome and his meeting Monday with Prime Minister Ariel Sharon of Israel, President George W. Bush spent an hour and a half Saturday riding a mountain bike at his Texas ranch. With him, as usual, was his indispensable new exercise toy: an iPod music player loaded with country and popular rock tunes aimed at getting the presidential heart rate up to a chest-pounding 170 beats per minute.
