The runaway comic who mysteriously fled to South Africa last month dropped in at two comedy clubs Wednesday, saying he had just arrived in Los Angeles and felt like performing. Chappelle, 31, served up some impromptu standup to stunned audiences at the Hollywood Improv and the Comedy Store. Comedy Store general manager Dean Gelber said Chappelle didn't say whether he'd do another season of 'Chappelle's Show' on Comedy Central, which had to delay the May 31 debut of the third season when the host went AWOL. A Comedy Central source told Variety that network officials would sit down with Chappelle 'really, really soon.'"
